Our evaluation
Tier-2 Review: elon-musk-perspective (slug: elon-musk-perspective)
What we attempted
We ran this skill through the standard two-stage harness: an install step and a smoke-invocation step. The goal was to confirm that the skill could be stood up in a clean environment and that its documented entrypoint actually produced output when triggered by one of its advertised phrases (e.g. 「用马斯克的视角」, "Musk模式", "白痴指数是多少").
What failed
Both stages were skipped, not passed. This is the critical distinction and we are not going to paper over it: 0 tests passed, 0 partial, 0 failed — because neither test could be executed at all.
- Install (skipped). The SKILL.md content available to the harness is truncated at 6000 characters. Within that window there is no install command, no package name, no dependency declaration, and no manifest reference. There is literally nothing documented to execute, so the install step has no target and cannot be simulated.
- Smoke-invocation (skipped). The same truncation means no README, no invocation syntax, no CLI entrypoint, no script path, and no API surface are present. The visible file describes trigger phrases and intent ("作为思维顾问,用马斯克的视角分析问题…") but never states how a caller invokes the skill once triggered. Without an entrypoint, the smoke test has nothing to call.
No dependencies and no blockers were observed — but that is an artifact of the skip, not a clean bill of health. An empty dependency list here means "we never got far enough to discover any," which is materially weaker evidence than "we checked and found none."
What we observed
The failure mode is truncation-induced unexecutability, and it is worth being precise about it. This is not a case of a skill that errored, returned wrong output, or had a broken dependency. It is a case where the harness's view of the artifact stops before the operational half of the document. Everything visible is descriptive (triggers, scope, intent); nothing visible is executable (install, entrypoint, invocation). A skill can be perfectly well-formed and still be untestable if the runnable portion sits past the truncation cutoff.
Two consequences follow:
- We cannot confirm or deny that the skill runs. The absence of an install command in the first 6000 chars may mean there is none, or may simply mean it appears later. We do not know which.
- The dimension scores below were assigned from the visible trigger/scope text and cannot be validated against runtime behavior.
Rating status
The composite 4.2 / 5.0 and its dimension breakdown are therefore theoretical. They reflect the quality of the visible trigger definitions and scope boundaries, not demonstrated performance. Until a physical re-run with the full, untruncated SKILL.md resolves the two skips, no dimension score should be treated as confirmed. In particular, D5 reusability (3.5) is the score most exposed to this problem: reusability is exactly the property a smoke test would verify, and it is the one we could not touch.
Is the skill still valuable in principle?
Yes, provisionally. The visible material is genuinely strong on the axis that matters most for a perspective/advisor skill: trigger clarity and scope discipline. It enumerates multiple natural-language entry points, including oblique ones ("这个成本合理吗", "五步算法"), and — unusually — it explicitly names negative triggers ("不要在用户只是问「能不能更快」…时触发"). That kind of boundary-setting is rare and is precisely what keeps a persona skill from over-firing on generic questions. If the operational half of the document is as well-specified as the descriptive half, this is likely a solid skill.
But "likely" is the honest word. The value is real in principle and unverified in practice. The single action that would move this from theoretical to confirmed is trivial: expose the full SKILL.md past the 6000-char cutoff so the harness can find an install target and an invocation, then re-run both stages. Until that happens, treat the 4.2 as a promise, not a measurement.
What we tried
Tests simulated against README claims; pending physical re-run in Docker harness. Ran 2026-09-22.
Overall: broken. 0 tests passed, 0 partial, 0 failed; both tests skipped because the truncated SKILL.md exposes no install command or runnable invocation, so no dependencies or blockers could be observed.
| Test | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| install | skipped | SKILL.md content is truncated at 6000 chars and contains no install command, package name, or dependency declaration; there is nothing documented to execute, so the install step cannot be simulated. |
| smoke-invocation | skipped | No README or invocation syntax is present in the provided SKILL.md; the file only describes trigger phrases (e.g. 「用马斯克的视角」) and usage intent, with no CLI entrypoint, script path, or API to call. |
